Around the time of their organization’s 30th anniversary, the Organic Growers School in Asheville, NC approached LightPress with a familiar problem: the user experience of their old WordPress site had become a confusing mess through many years of disjointed volunteer labor, and the aesthetic of their brand had become dated. After extensive content strategy and consulting with the OGS marketing team, together we developed a plan for a clean, intuitive new interface to showcase the beautiful re-brand and help site visitors make better use of the variety of resources OGS offers.

Just because it is an institution full of people who prefer digging in dirt to looking at screens doesn’t mean OGS should suffer the missed opportunities of an outdated online presence! With this website re-launch on Squarespace, we completely overhauled the site architecture, organization, and visual design to bring its look and UX up to date.
